Saddle Up for Rodeo Celina 2025: A Weekend of Western Fun at Southfork Ranch
Cambridge Crossing neighbors, get ready—something big (and loud!) is coming your way. Rodeo Celina is back for its second year, and it’s shaping up to be even better than before. From May 30 through June 1, 2025, the legendary Southfork Ranch will host three unforgettable days of rodeo action, live music, and family-friendly festivities that bring an authentic taste of Texas to life.
Just a short drive from home, this event is the perfect way to kick off the summer with friends, family, and neighbors. Whether you’re a rodeo regular or new to the scene, the experience at Southfork Ranch is one you won’t want to miss.
A Real Texas Rodeo Experience
Each day of Rodeo Celina begins with a fan favorite—Mutton Bustin’. This kid-friendly event starts the fun with pint-sized cowboys and cowgirls holding on tight as they ride sheep across the arena. It’s adorable, hilarious, and guaranteed to earn big cheers from the crowd.
The main rodeo events follow soon after, featuring top-tier talent and livestock provided by the renowned Andrews Rodeo, Inc. Spectators can expect heart-stopping action in the form of saddle bronc and bareback riding, bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, and more. Every performance is sanctioned by the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association), so you’re in for a professional, high-energy show from start to finish.
Friday and Saturday evening rodeos begin at 7:00 PM, following Mutton Bustin’ at 6:30. Sunday’s events start earlier in the day, with the little ones taking the arena at 1:30 PM and the rodeo kicking off at 2:00 PM.
Music That Keeps the Party Going
Once the arena dust settles, the energy continues with live music each night. On Friday, Texas country artist Josh Ward will take the stage, delivering a set of honky-tonk favorites and heartfelt lyrics. Saturday Night features Randall King, whose throwback sound and modern edge have made him a rising star in the country scene. Both performances begin at 10:00 PM and will surely get the crowd on their feet.
While the rodeo and concerts are separately ticketed, attending both makes for a complete and unforgettable night out. You’ll want to stick around for the music, grab a bite from a local food truck, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the event grounds.
Celebrating for a Cause
Beyond the entertainment, Rodeo Celina also brings the community together to support causes close to home. Each event day is tied to a theme that gives back to local organizations and nonprofits.
Friday is “Thank a Veteran Night,” with proceeds benefiting American Legion Post 145. On Saturday, the crowd is encouraged to wear pink in support of the Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation through the “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” initiative. On Sunday, it’s all about Celina’s pride with “Orange Out for the Bobcats,” supporting Celina ISD’s FFA program.
These themed nights make it easy to show your support—show up, cheer loudly, and maybe wear a little extra pink or orange.
Good Eats, Great Finds, and Family Fun
Of course, a Texas rodeo wouldn’t be complete without some good food and fun off the arena floor. Rodeo Celina offers everything from classic concessions to local food vendors serving Texas BBQ, tacos, and sweet treats. You can browse artisan booths between events, pick up unique handmade goods, or let the kids enjoy games and activities designed just for them.
The event is curated to be a whole family experience, so whether you’re wrangling toddlers or catching up with neighbors, there’s something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day.

Rodeo Celina 2025 is open to everyone, and tickets are affordable, making it a fun option for families and date nights. Adult admission is $20, kids ages 3 to 10 are $12, and children under 2 get in free. Concert tickets are sold separately, so if you plan to enjoy the rodeo and music, snag yours ahead of time.
